This position will lead a team of technical resources though planning and execution of key product work transfers for Melbourne Operations thinking and acting strategically, fostering best practices. The role requires a transformational leader collaborating with all levels of the organization planning work transfer actions, developing process improvements, quickly resolving critical issues, and program execution.
Responsibilities:
- Create and partner with project managers on plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.
- Leads a team that will manage the execution of actions of a sending or a receiving site of work transfer products.
- Conducts project meetings and prepares reports to effectively communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
- Develops and coaches team members through development of integrated project plans and project execution.
- Creates an environment of a quality first culture.
- Acts as a primary contact with the Melbourne leadership to ensure CMS operations managers is effectively supporting and working on project actions with Value Stream Leadership.
- Capable of understanding technical information of basic electronic designs to assist team in solving work transfer technical challenges.
- Lead team through key work transfer activities such as Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), space/layout and facilities requirements, process equipment and tool identification and duplication, buffer strategies and the release of those buffers, cell training coordination
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management experience with cross function teams
- Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
- Self-directed; strong planning and organizational skills and able adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Utilizes lean principles, a driver of improvement.
- Good judgment and strong critical thinking skills.
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
