Team Leader Planning&Reporting – Financial Senior Controller

Job Description:

A.Main activities

  • Direct the Planning and Control team to ensure delivery of accurate and timely analysis, reporting and projects deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes at AHE level aligned with AH processes and initiatives.
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of up to 3 direct reports
  • Responsible for the AHE budgeting and forecasting processes, leading end to end both processes, including part of budget managed at Central level. Ex: headcount and CAPEX
  • Support the Head of Accounting, Planning & Reporting in all financial aspects related to Planning & Reporting.
  • Provide monthly reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting, including forecasting and variance analysis to Head of Finance Europe Region
  • Oversee cost management initiatives
  • Month-end accounting closing coordination

  • Inconsistencies in data sources and reconciliation of differences
  • Fulfillment of deadlines

C.More important decisions

  • To alert about deviations and propose of remedy actions
  • Detection of inconsistencies and apply remedy and prevent actions.
  • Prioritization of tasks

  • Reports
  • Explanations about deviations
  • Presentations to the Group and AHE Direction

E.Key Competences

  • Problem solving: think through and determine the most effective course of action
  • Planning skills: ability to install a sensible plan, evaluate the results and realistically forecast subsequent outcomes
  • Team oriented
  • +5 years’ experience in Controlling functions
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, MBA preferred, with a strong understanding in accounting principles
  • Cost accounting knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines in order to manage creative capacity
  • Fluent English and Spanish languages (spoken and written)
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines and to help deploy changes
  • MS Excel and Powerpoint expertise
