Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing is hiring for a Systems Change Management Specialist in Everett, WA. The change management specialist will work within a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that is responsible for accurate Systems design, configuration, and certification supporting the delivery of the entire 777/777X airplane families. The team is also responsible for reducing cost of the airplane family throughout its lifecycle from design through build and delivery. As the 777X customer base grows, the diversity and breath of emergent challenges will also grow correspondingly creating an ideal environment for a challenge seeking individual.

The change management specialist will execute Systems Production Revision Records (PRRs) and Rapid Revisions in close coordination with our Electrical, EE Subs, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Environmental Controls and Change Board stakeholders. The candidate will also perform Customer Intros for 777 and 777X by supporting completion of Integrated Work Statements (IWS) in support of IDAS, and also schedule work for the Systems integrated product team. The specialist will execute MCs for 777/777X and support Bus Ops throughout the Cust Intro and Rapid P&O processes.

In addition, the specialist will also help to coordinate solutions for PRR work statement or scheduling issues with affected Engineering Teams and PP&C (Change Board).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains product structure definition controls product naming conventions and product identification.
  • Analyzes data gathered from identified sources, identifies discrepancies and works with responsible organizations to resolve.
  • Documents and maintains the technical requirements and definition of contract language over the product lifecycle.
  • Develops, documents and implements configuration management processes.
  • Manages the change process. Integrates and coordinates design and configuration data required for certifications and/or flight clearance notices.
  • Processes variances in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Coordinates resolution of variances associated with non-compliant products.
  • Collects, organizes, synthesizes and analyzes data to support and guide business decisions. Summarizes findings; develops conclusions and recommendations to develop product offerings.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Everett, WA.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Configuration Management and/or Data Management and processing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Skilled in Microsoft office products
  • Systems experience desired
  • Desired tool familiarity: ECAS, IBEX, ETAC, PDM, etc.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year’s related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $63,000 - $95,000

Summary pay range Lead: $77,000 - $115,000
