We are seeking smart and energized Systems Architecture Engineers to contribute to our Space and Mission Enablers (S&ME) Segment of programs based in Adelaide. You will work on various programs within the Segment including the Australian Defence Air Traffic System (ADATS) and Harold E. Holt (HEH) programs. The ADATS program covers 14 Air Traffic Management sites, including control sites, radars, and other equipment vital for safeguarding Australia’s military airspace. The HEH program consists of three exciting mission systems - two in Space surveillance and one in VLF communications.

The role
As a Systems Architecture Engineer your responsibilities include:
- Architect systems within the ADATS and HEH programs using CAMEO Systems Modeller,
- Support business development for programs within the Segment following established architectural processes and templates,
- Maintain relationships with internal and external customers regarding architectural projects,
- Lead workshops and meetings to keep project tasks on schedule and address issues or process improvements,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs, and
- Perform technical risk analysis and contribute to major reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
The person
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A University degree in Engineering,
- Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience,
- Strong analytical skills for eliciting and documenting project requirements,
- Ability to design and maintain system architectures while ensuring compatibility and performance,
- Experience in Verification and Validation activities,
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-makers, and
- Prior knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards and Tools is desirable.
