The Air Combat Test and Training (ACTT) engineering department is responsible for the design, analysis, implementation and test of Air Combat Test and Training systems. We solve the challenges of next-generation pilot proficiency training so they can “Train as they Fight”. We field Test and Training range systems with state-of-the-art technology in cryptography, datalinks, navigation, communication, networking and command and control.

Eligible for relocation.

What you will do:

  • Capture customers requirements and support the development lifecycle from design, through integration, test and deployment to the customer

  • Develop automated system level testing

  • Development in a DevSecOps environment (GIT, Kubernetes, Bamboo)

  • Collaborate with engineers across other engineering disciplines & departments

  • Support of Design Approach Reviews and road mapping strategies

  • Support bid and proposal efforts related to the systems development efforts

Education and experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen  

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Skills you must have:

  • Knowledge of Linux OS environment

  • Knowledge of Virtualization Software

  • Knowledge of systems networking (TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4)

  • Knowledge 1553 Bus interfaces
