Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

This role is for the LTAMDS SI&T product line lead within the Mobile Sensors & Weapons Systems department. The LTAMDS SI&T product line lead is responsible for leading the SI&T efforts related to integrating the digital signal processor and the radar control processor for emerging software (SW) capabilities and supporting sell-off of requirements for the LTAMDS system. This role will lead a team in the effort to update and maintain an automated test suite, analyze test results, and investigate anomalies in test results in support of the LTAMDS system

We are seeking Senior Principal Engineers LTAMDS to work in Marlborough MA.

This role is based onsite. Travel between Marlborough, Tewksbury, and Andover may be required.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Coordinate and perform integration and identify issues from a system level perspective on software development branches as well as release branches.
  • Oversees risk reduction efforts using in plant simulations for integration and test of builds planned to be delivered to site or live test activities.
  • Helps prioritize defects identified during Signal Processor in the Loop (SPITL) /Product Test Suite (PTS) activities.
  • The SI&T Product line lead ensures that PTS and other test suites remains up to date and consistent with release SW.
  • The Product line lead is responsible for planning and allocating resources necessary to execute all elements [Demonstrate, Inspect, Analysis and Test] of the test plan and associated procedures. 
  • The Product line lead oversees SI&T’s use of the LTAMDS Analyze tools and ensures the tools remain viable for integration, test and verification efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience in system integration or software integration
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RSPL Experience
  • Experience with automated test
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
  • Experience interfacing with internal or external customers
