Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking a Demand Planning professional (Senior Manager, Scheduling) to join our Sales and Operation Execution Sensor organization. This position reports to the S&OE Lead Associate Director for Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) within Andover, MA, and works collaboratively with the Factory Operation Managers, finance, engineering, quality, and technical leads to develop, maintain, and evaluate performance against the demand profile in MRP. This position requires a highly problem-solving, data driven, goal-oriented team member that proactively seeks out data, engages stakeholders, and facilitates closure of commitments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a group of planning professionals who provide integrated demand support across the value steam. They will lead program planning and scheduling and factory operation schedule alignment, lead schedule analysis, provide direction and support to S&OE professionals. Excellent team and interpersonal communication skills, business acumen, experienced professional planning and scheduling knowledge and a desire to work in development and production environments are required. Excellent customer relationship skills and experience planning in the Aerospace Industry is essential. This position requires full-time onsite support in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Control all planning and scheduling operations for business area and is the interface for all planning and scheduling.
Participate with other managers in developing and establishing business unit and company-wide planning and scheduling procedures and training
Manage and develop staff of approximately 12 demand planners.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in STEM, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and 10 + years of professional experience in Program Management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling or an advanced degree in a related field and 7 years’ experience.
Prior work experience in managing the development of complex program plans in accordance with the statement of work and program plan.
Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
Prior experience developing a team of professionals.
Prior work experience supporting the program plans, schedules, and financial tracking.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior work experience supporting planning effort on a program.
Experience in Agile planning and implementation and with Microsoft Project Server
Demonstrated customer facing experience.
Experience in MRP systems.
Familiarity with any of the following: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX) SA, Project Manager
Knowledge and experience in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning and scheduling.
Secret Security Clearance must be obtained and held
