Sr Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Aftersales and Quality teams, Product/Program, Technical teams and external stakeholders to understand the business drivers, data availability and product challenges. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling and problem solving.
  • Consistently plan a business analysis approach for complex situations.
  • Design, Define and Test project/product requirements.
  • Play multiple roles within activities prescribed by a methodology.
  • Engage all stakeholders and gain consensus in agreement of results.
  • Create the software requirements artefacts and deliverables.
  • Communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Consistently develop effective change control processes for complex requirements and designs.
  • Determine the appropriate level of abstraction for business analysis information in complex environments.
  • To define requirements using Data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • To support in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
  • Participate in the functional design and architecture of the solution.
  • Propose and collaborate on processes and tools to meet technical and business policies towards the business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, gather and analyze data to develop architectural requirements at project level.
  • Perform project management activities in the related areas to ensure processes and tools are implemented within requirements, time and budget constraints.
  • Be the driver for digital transformation solutions that are data driven leveraging Data science and AI/ML concepts.
  • Build a strong relationship with business teams to understand their needs and pain points
  • Build a strong collaboration with Technology department and teams in order to execute the strategy into technical feasible solutions.
  • Being able to combine agile methodologies as well as waterfall in order to deliver solutions that drive the highest value in a way that meets the expectations of the business and our end users.
  • Be able to manage a challenging group of stakeholders, regional teams, senior management in HQ, various Tech teams, and various business teams.
  • Support in vendor management activities and drive the roadmap together.
  • Support on KPI report consolidation and overall program status update, anticipate and communicate risks to key stakeholders in IT, different business functions and external vendors.
  • Identify new opportunities that can disrupt the current view of business processes and increase value for our end user. Managing day to day project communications and contributing to Sr. executive management reports and business presentations
  • Bringing best-in-class market and industry insights to platform and product strategy
  • Active engagement in Technical & Business forums, Product Council and V-up Activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Engineering degree (BE/B-tech) / MBA with 5-8 years of related work experience
  • Experience in Automotive OEM will be an added advantage or any Manufacturing side with domain exposure to After sales, Warranty & Returns, Supply chain management, CRM or consulting experience in the above areas.
  • Superb communication, Social, and Presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Shown business insight, Ability to understand and anticipate the decisions partners can make supported by data.
  • Experience in setting up proactive monitoring and alerts mechanisms to identify issues proactively and minimize Business disruption.
  • Ability to manage critical Incidents, support business continuity strategy, have attention to detail, perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions. Outstanding troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our business partners on the status of production issues and resolution strategy.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to serve diverse customer base and deal effectively with escalating issues.
  • Conceptual understanding of multi-tiered and web-based information systems architecture, infrastructure.
  • Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks, communicate status updates, escalate issues and juggle competing priorities.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate initiatives in multidisciplinary teams acting as an informal to be leader.
  • Proven track-record in product management, working with product teams using agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Understand the As-Is processes and discuss with business teams to establish To-Be processes.
  • Drive the requirement gathering workshops, gather the requirements and explain to IT teams.
  • Clear and structured communication skills
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business and multiple time zones
  • Ability to facilitate smaller sized projects and comfortable enough to ask questions.
  • Conduct and facilitate client-facing meetings, workshops, and daily/weekly stand-ups
  • Product Management experience conducting strategic quantitative and or qualitative analysis in a cross-functional enterprise environment to support and improve business operations.
