Job Summary
Position provides industrial security support with an emphasis on personnel security management and compliance with both company and government security requirements. Serving as the technical authority for the personnel security program obtaining security clearances for employees, and follow-up/correspondence as necessary to ensure all actions are complete. Manages and maintains a multitude of personnel security databases of record for employee clearances.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Administrative duties of administering security clearance briefings to employees who are granted a security clearance
- Debriefing Personal upon notification of Retirement/Termination
- Taking fingerprints and maintaining fingerprint equipment
- Conducting Verification of Citizenship (VOCs)
- Auditing DISS database to ensure that the Eligibility for employee access is in sync, as well as ensure no loss of jurisdiction or loss of eligibility has occurred to an employee
- Keeping records of all ePCL submittals/approvals for accuracy and follow up actions with Clearance Processing Center (CPC).
- Continuously evaluates compliance of personnel security activities with security requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Related work experience and familiarity with the requirements of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, driven environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2 years relevant experience required

Required Education (including Major):
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 68,000 USD - 136,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
