Job Summary:
The Advanced Product Center (APC) within Raytheon is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Program Cost Controls (grade P2) to join our growing team. The candidate will drive the operations finance process, monitor program health and compliance, and partner with other functional team members to improve program financial metrics. In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the responsible programs. This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. The selected candidate can anticipate 70% remote & 30% onsite.
The ideal candidate would be able to work in a challenging fast paced team environment, have a strong earned value analysis skillset, be a success minded team member who possesses strong self-initiative and multi-tasking skills, be able to provide analytical support while under critical deadlines and be involved in process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the candidate needs to effectively communicate analysis and results with our customer.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Program cost/schedule control and analysis and utilizing Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

Forecasting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), variance analysis and data reviewing/reporting.

Partner with the Program Manager and CAMs/IPTLs to provide financial leadership in the successful execution of various IDIQ contracts.

Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well as support of 5 Year and AOP forecasting.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and less than 2 years' experience.

Earned Value (EV) skillset and experience in using SAP Business Systems APEX EV & PRISM EV.

Analytical ability that is necessary to ensure program performance to plan and to ensure that problem areas are immediately identified, and corrective action is taken.

Excellent written/verbal skills and ability to effectively communicate financial analysis and results with leaders/customers.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to internal customers, management, and peers.

Experience developing program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and ongoing overseeing of cost and schedule integration.

Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data.

Organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within required deadlines.

Individual must be a self-starter and an independent worker in support of the program.

Experience using PMX.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
