Job Summary:  

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst to join our team supporting the El Segundo, CA facility within the Advanced Products and Solutions Business Unit. This position is fully Remote reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Acquisitions working with Supplier Performance Managed suppliers. In this role you will manage a steady volume of repair contracts requiring quick-turn actions and numerous production hardware contracts, including potential new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience administering all aspect of the procurement and subcontracts life cycle: new supplier sourcing, proposal support, terms and conditions negotiations, price and cost analysis, supplier management, and compliance to both FAR/DFAR and Raytheon policy.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Perform subcontract administration functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial (Domestic and International) subcontracts by administering repair contracts and FFP/Cost Type subcontracts.
  • Prepare Requests for Quotes (RFQs), develop Statements of Work, and use source selection techniques. Analyze supplier quotes/proposals, utilize source selection techniques (best value, total cost of ownership, etc.), perform cost/price analyses, establish negotiation objectives/strategies, conduct negotiations, and identify supplier risks/opportunities.
  • Manage suppliers to Raytheon and customer requirements including government regulations (such as FAR/DFAR), public law and Raytheon policies and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance to cost, delivery/schedule, quality, technical and programmatic/contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional and internal support organizations, such as Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Engineering, Production Control, Program Office, Operations and Material Program Managers.
  • Develop and maintain all aspects of pertinent procurement documentation while adhering to all applicable compliance requirements.  
  • This position is Fully Remote.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related.
  • Experience in DoD procurement and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)
  • Experience negotiating price, schedules, and terms & conditions.
  • Proven experience with price analyses, source selection/justification.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tool.
  • Experience in running competitive requests for quote, awarding and managing various subcontract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M) for critical programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.

Additional Information:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. 

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
