This position is CONTINGENT upon funding, an open position, customer approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and successful TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance crossover.

Raytheon The Software QA/Tester will work as part of a team supporting a portfolio which is the central repository for the clients' created applications. These applications are based on products such as AWS, Oracle, SharePoint, and other web-based solutions. This role will verify developed software meets the specified requirements and produces the desired result combined with ensuring any defects are identified and documented.  The person in this role will have polished skills in building test cases based on use case development mythologies as well as knowledge and experience with automated testing. 

Required skills and demonstrated experience:

Demonstrated experience with the development of test cases as part of an agile team.

Demonstrated experience using a test automation framework.

Demonstrated experience using test automation tools.

Demonstrated experience with use of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for development and execution of test scripts.

Demonstrated experience with managing testing for multiple applications during the concurrent development cycles.

Demonstrated experience with Regression, Integration, API, or Functional testing.

Demonstrated experience developing and managing test plans and cases. 

Desired skills and demonstrated experience:

Demonstrated experience using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.

Demonstrated experience briefing technical topics to a non-technical audience.

Demonstrated experience in strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in strong leadership ability and experience juggling competing priorities.

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or

systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years

prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a

minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
