Job Description:

The primary function of this role is the development of applications and scripts to support Non-Destructive Test ( NDT ) inspections for aerospace components. The role includes requirements planning, design, development, debug, and test of new and existing inspection software. Image and data analysis are also a component of this role to support processing of inspections. This is a great opportunity to work in a small cohesive team of dedicated professionals who value teamwork and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to operational, safety and emergency procedures
  • Review customer requirements to understand and document project scope and intent
  • Document, design, develop and implement inspection software and related process utilities
  • Create and enhance 2D and Volumetric inspection processing software
  • Develop algorithms to enhance automation and reduce image review requirements
  • Perform image analysis on inspection data as needed to support the business needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering or 3+ years with an advance degree
  • US Citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Development experience with C# and Python
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard business software
  • Knowledge of quality management systems including AS9100 is a plus
  • Fluent in English
