Software: fuel for mobility

We bring bold digital visions to life. So we’re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change – one line of high-quality code at a time. Our transformation isn't for everyone, but if you're excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry, then let’s talk about your next move.

This is what your new colleagues do

Our objective is to build the world’s most secure mobility platform. We are the cybersecurity gatekeepers. Modern cars are not only means of transportation but also advanced information carriers. More and more data are being exchanged, between cars and infrastructure, and between cars and passengers. Thus, the car needs to be protected from all kinds of cybersecurity threats.

We develop the Secure Gateway. We make sure that only trusted data is allowed to be transferred to the car. This requires us to stay on our toes, as new cybersecurity threats will always wait around the corner. We need to utilize cutting-edge technology to protect our precious data assets, including deep packet inspection with different types of AI and ML analysis.

Now we are just about to start developing the next generation mobility platform. How do we make sure that Volvo cars are the most secure in the world, ready to face the cybersecurity threats of tomorrow?
