This position is for a software programmer to develop new code and expand our Supplier Data Analytics & Transformation tool (SDAT) managed by the Global Supplier Development group (GSD) within Collins Central Supply Chain organization. SDAT is a Collins web application used by Enterprise Supply Chain to manage and improve supplier performance and risk monitoring activities. SDAT provides strategic reporting of the Supplier Lifecycle. The goal of SDAT is to facilitate business and foster relationships with our global suppliers. You have an exciting opportunity as programmer to exercise creativity in growing and maturing our highly demanded SDAT application!
This individual will work 100% remote. Will be working East Coast hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement applications using Visual Studio, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and T-SQL coding languages.
- Work with the GSD Business Process (BP) and Digital Technology (DT) teams to design and implement digital business solutions to increase customers efficacy.
- Meet with BP team and customers to capture business requirements for application enhancements and new feature request builds.
- Coalesce with DT team to architect our growing SDAT application infrastructure into an extensible first-class Collins application.
- Develop .net web forms for customer input and file-upload submissions.
- Create T-SQL database objects such as tables, triggers, stored procedures, views and aggregate functions to support front-end web forms.
- Administer SQL Server Production, Quality and Development databases for the team.
- Configure Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) web server as part of our application management plan.
- Maintain orderly and efficient code design underlying our SDAT application in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain and organize database schema for the benefit of team cohesion and better communication.
- Build queries and SSRS or PowerBI reports aligned to customer and management requirements.
- Create SSIS Packages to aggregate and feed information into our database for downstream reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% of the time

2+ years experience with HTML/CSS, Python, JAVA, JavaScript, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL, , and Visual basic programming languages

Previous experience developing web-based applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- Ability to demonstrate prior project work is a plus
- Power BI report visualization

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
