The Dallas Materials & Process Team is seeking a Senior Digital Integration Software Manufacturing Engineer.

This position is located on-site in Dallas, TX.

The Dallas Materials & Process Team centers on development of assembly methods, materials, and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmwave products, with a heavy emphasis on cutting-edge automation and materials.

We are looking for an innovative individual to develop/support custom software tools used to streamline operations within our manufacturing environment. The applicant will work collaboratively with manufacturing/operations engineers to ensure the tools achieve the desired capabilities for data collection and analysis, machine IOT connectivity, automated data input, etc.

This position requires the ability to work in the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Work closely with manufacturing/operations engineers to design and implement custom automation software solutions.

  • Manage existing software solutions and develop new tools for process data collection for the factory and Industry 4.0 digital integration engineering efforts.

  • Connect applicable automated equipment to our data collection network.

  • Support factory operations for daily needs and deploy updates/bug fixes.

  • Generate improvement ideas for various projects and applications.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software, or closely related field.

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Software experience (examples include the following, but not all are required): LabView, C++, C#/.NET, PowerShell, Java, Splunk, SQL Server, Python, VBA, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Git Version Control, Arduino, Linux, JFrog Artifactory, and/or web server management.

  • I4.0/IOT experience (examples include the following, but not all are required): Splunk, Ignition, PowerBI, Modbus/MQTT, HTTP/API requests, etc.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
    U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Strongly preferred: Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic understanding of network configuration settings in Windows/Linux.

  • Strength and experience in developing custom software solutions.

  • Experience working within an Agile framework.

  • Experience working within a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
