Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Senior Work Movement Fabrication Interiors Manager (Level M) to support the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) business unit in Everett, Washington or Charleston, South Carolina.

As the IRC Work Movement senior manager you will be responsible for the management and integration of multiple Fabrication work movement projects. This includes identifying and mitigating risks to production and working cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution. You will be leading the development of early mitigation plans to avoid risks and resolve issues. You would be developing and implementing supplier plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies, as well as analyzing supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.

This position will also have responsibility for IRC rate readiness capacity and capability planning and managing rate-ready projects to completion. Working cross-functionally to ensure timely completion and execution.

The IRC Work Movement senior manager will be an integral member of the IRC leadership team, influencing IRC strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development of robust project plans to support the execution of work movement projects from “as-is” to “to-be” entity meeting cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

  • Ensure supplier plans are comprehensive and resources are allocated to address priorities and manage risk.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across the Commercial Supply Chain team.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of activities and leads process improvements.

  • Leverage existing processes and systems while strengthening the proactive identification of risk and the appropriate visibility to ensure successful execution of transfer plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives

  • 5+ years of leadership experience either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment

  • 5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically/internationally up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience as a senior manager

  • 3+ years of experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Everett, Washington: $164,050 - $221,950

Summary pay range North Charleston, South Carolina: $153,000 - $207,000
