Some of the key deliverables include:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and implement solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations for the RAiVEN Product Family.
  • Analyze and identify all or part of existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.  
  • Design, implement, code, test, document, and support systems integration in support of mission critical advanced surveillance and targeting system solutions.
  • Work closely with cyber to ensure security controls are met and with software engineers, systems engineers, and implementation teams to ensure performance and deployment compliance.
  • Able to work onsite at our McKinney, TX Development Center

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration (7.x/8.x), including installation and maintenance of software and hardware.
  • Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security.
  • Experience securing and hardening Red Hat Linux systems per STIG requirements.
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and Python
  • Some experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes
  • Experience with IaC, container orchestration deployment and monitoring, as well as understanding container SBOM versioning and vulnerabilities within the environment
  • Familiarization with commercial cloud capabilities and services such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with at least one major programming language (C++, C#, Python, Java) and troubleshooting on a Linux system.
  • RHCSA is highly desirable, along with CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant software development experience

Clearance and Citizenship requirement:

  • Must be able to acquire and maintain DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is mandatory to acquire and maintain Security clearances.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
