As a Senior Software Engineer, you will support the development of a DevSecOps system integration lab pipeline to automate and optimize the development and deployment process of complex military avionics systems.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

What YOU will do:

  • You will design and developing of the DevSecOps pipeline will involve.
  • You will research and selection of modern tooling.
  • You will integrate tooling, apps, and scripts into the development pipeline.
  • You will research a selection of technologies to enable automation and increase flow.
  • You will develop small applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates.
  • You will create framework to automate test, deployment, and delivery of software.

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 5 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Skills you must have:

  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated experience navigating competing priorities, achieving the highest level of engagement, and delivering successful outcomes in critical situations.
  • Software Development experience
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages like, C, C++, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.

Skills we value:

  • Prior DevOps or DevSecOps experience.
  • Direct experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience using GitHub.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools:  Docker, Ansible GitLab, Kubernetes, Rancher, Prometheus, Terraform, Jenkins.
  • Experience with Linux System Administration.
  • Experience with Database Management.
  • General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience leading projects and small teams.
