Job Summary:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer within the Patriot Application and Software Department in Tewksbury Massachusetts. The Patriot Application and Software Department’s mission is to provide world class software for Patriot, the world's pre-eminent air defense system.
As part of this team, you will perform software development, including requirements definition, design and implementation, and testing. The candidate will be responsible for implementing new capabilities, debugging, and fixing problems within software applications, and supporting integration and verification efforts. Our software applications are developed using C++, Ada, Jovial programming languages running on a variety of computing platforms utilizing Linux, VxWorks, LynxOS, and Windows operating systems.
Qualifications you must have:

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering field.

5+ years of software engineering experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience

C++ Programming experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
