Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

The Ground Radars & Platforms Center within SI&T seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot Missile Integrated Product Team. The Patriot program is a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities. Every day is a different set of obstacles to overcome. Whether hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement results. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a helping hand in making it all work together and will travel to support integration and test efforts.

This position is an onsite role in Andover, MA. Travel to White Sands, New Mexico is expected, less than 10%.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support missile integration and verification, including test planning and implementation in the test facilities
  • Prepare integration and verification documentation, such as test plans, procedures, test cases, and reports
  • Utilize DOORS to capture verification artifacts and maintain traceability to requirements
  • Develop automated testing frameworks in support of integration and verification

  • Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues and complete requirement verification
  • Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program management and external customers
  • Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues. Includes working closely with operations and manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to travel to support test events

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience with systems integration and verification processes.
  • Experience with integration and test of missile systems.
  • Experience with planning and conducting integration and test events.
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Patriot system, Patriot Missile, and Patriot specific data collection and analysis software
  • Experience with developing simulation scenarios to evaluate system performance
  • Experience with the integration and test activities at the Patriot Test Facility-Andover, including the Missile Simulator, Flight Mission Simulator (FMS), Launcher Group Simulator (LGSIM), as well as experience with Patriot Higher Echelon Unit (HEU) at the test facility
  • Experience analyzing of large sets of system performance data using data analysis software (such as MATLAB), for the purpose of completing requirement verification
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical results to complex requirements
  • Experience with generating technical documentation in support of requirements integration and verification, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
