Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance in Aurora CO. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

In this role, you will be joining a team of talented software engineers who are designing and developing advanced satellite ground station software. Our challenging domain offers the opportunity to apply new technologies to build high availability, large-scale software systems.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $20K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.
Required Skills

Experience developing object-oriented software using Java in a Linux environment

Experience with Containers - Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Methodologies

Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance
Education/Experience Requirements

10 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. A Master’s degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
