Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analytics - Senior Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the aerospace sector. This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to leverage data-driven insights for decision-making and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:

    • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets related to supply chain operations, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

    • Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of current supply chain processes.

  • Predictive Modeling and Forecasting:

    • Develop predictive models and forecasting algorithms to anticipate demand fluctuations, inventory requirements, and supply chain risks.

    • Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain resilience.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track supply chain performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.

    • Monitor key metrics such as on-time delivery, supplier performance, inventory turnover, and transportation costs to drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, finance, engineering, and IT to align supply chain analytics initiatives with broader business objectives.

    • Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure seamless integration of analytics insights into supply chain decision-making processes.

  • Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the supply chain, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.

    • Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes, optimize inventory management strategies, and enhance supplier relationships to drive cost savings and improve operational performance.

  • Risk Management and Mitigation:

    • Proactively identify supply chain risks and vulnerabilities, such as supplier disruptions, material shortages, and geopolitical factors, and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Work closely with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation measures and contingency plans to minimize the impact of disruptions on production schedules and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, engineering, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) preferred.

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in supply chain analytics, operations research, or related roles within the aerospace industry or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or MATLAB.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

  • Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and machine learning algorithms applied to supply chain optimization.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey analytical findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change in a dynamic business environment.

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices related to supply chain management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

  • Related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) Preferred, but not required.
