  • Performing supplier performance monitoring and executes supplier improvement plans to maintain supplier performance at a desired level
  • Helps supplier demonstrate operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and organizational development
  • Drive engagement and cross-functional collaboration between all internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish partnerships at all levels within the supplier, emphasizing: collaboration, clear expectations, common goals, trust and transparency
  • Performs supplier rate readiness assessments to ensure future rate support with sufficient capacity, resources, manpower and tooling allocation
  • Performs risk management and identifies operational risks that could affect future supplier performance
  • Steer supplier culture from reactive to proactive, managing risks before they become issues
  • Jointly develop recovery plans with supplier, then implement operating rhythm and metrics to hold supplier and stakeholders accountable for performance to plan
  • Deploys and monitors production tracking tools such as material LOBs and Waterfall Charts
  • Adept in investigative tools like RRCA, 8D, QCPC etc.
  • Ensure suppliers are managing capacity, demand and resource plans that demonstrate rate readiness
  • Champions change through active support of continuous improvement tools and processes
  • Recurring and ad hoc reporting of information and metrics to internal stakeholders
  • Expected job related travel of at least 50%.
  • Position requires a Bachelor degree and 12+ years' experience or a Masters Degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing
  • Project management experience & managing a team experience
  • Able to work independently with good project management skills.
  • Good technical writing skills with proficiency in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a quality / manufacturing / production engineering role with a strong mechanical engineering and problem-solving skill set.
  • Experience working in a Lean and/or Lean Product Development environment preferred
