Job Description
- Leads the maintenance team in the overall planning and execution of maintenance plans and programs for production machineries and equipment
- Prepares overall maintenance plans and strategies and budget allocations
- Ensures adequate spares for critical machines are in place for fast turn-around times during machine breakdowns
- Performs machine breakdown analysis and comes up with prventative and long-term solutions
- Carries out improvement projects on the shop floor in coordination with requesting parties or with the Operational Excellence team
- Evaluates/assess plant equipment capacities and takt times to ensure equipment availability so production requirements are adequately served
- Ensures production machines layouts are up to date according to the master plan
- Ensures production machines and equipment comply to all regulatory obligations
- Coordinates and liaise with equipment manufacturers/vendors on equipment improvements, efficiencies and/or installation requirements
- Develops and implement wholistic skills improvement programs for staff/subordinates
- Leads the site's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program implementation including best practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any engineering discipline preferably a professional mechanical engineer;
- At least Ten (10) years experience in a large manufacturing setup on production maintenance, project management or manufacturing operations
- Strong leadership skills and ability to interface within all levels in the organization
- Good grasp of technological trends, platforms and other industry-standard applications
- Working knowledge of utilities/facilities machinery and equipment
