Overview:

In this role, the Senior Lead Engineer (Systems) will actively participate in NPI (New Product Introduction), redesign and technology programs of Actuation Systems business unit and will support various Actuation Systems product lines including Power Door Opening System (PDOS), Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS) and Highlift Flap and Slat Actuation systems.

Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identifies/Defines system requirements
  • Analyses all levels of total system products, prepares technical reports and supports total systems analysis
  • Capture & analyze product requirements and convert into system architectural solutions
  • Leads trade studies based on system performance, and implements common systems engineering methods/practices.
  • Engages in technical discussions both internal and external technical stakeholders and articulates the problem clearly.
  • Supports system design, development and test related analysis activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8 to 12 years of industry experience in physics based modelling of large systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of any modelling tools like Simscape/AMESim along with Matlab/Simulink expertise is preferred.
  • Should have expertise on mechanical systems modeling, system performance analysis and validation.
  • Should have exposure on Control Modeling, Model troubleshooting and Requirement management.
  • Experience in Landing Systems, Actuations, Brake systems will be an added advantage
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capability.
