Software Engineers are needed on multiple mission-critical classified programs. Bring your talent and skills to the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) Dulles Engineering team! Our team is focused on providing solutions to challenging problems to enable the success of our customer's missions.
Responsibilities:
Work as a Senior Software Developer and Integrator as part of a development team which utilizes a diverse adaptable team, including many experts in their fields.
Specific duties:
• Develop, integrate, and test software to ensure proper operation of software systems
• Integrate a wide variety of applications from various sources and ensure they meet performance standards for stability and resource utilization
• Develop automated test and automated deployment software
• Support full lifecycle DevOps including key principles like Infrastructure as Code
Clearance Requirements:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $20K for a person with an active TS/SCI that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

Required Skills:
• Experience developing, integrating, and testing software to ensure proper operation of software systems
• Experience in Java and C++ on a Linux platform
• Experience performing Unit Testing using Junit
• Experience using Software Design Patterns
• Experience using source control resources such as GIT
• Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS
• Proficiency with multi-threaded applications
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML)
• Effective communicate in a team environment
Desired Experience:
• Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl and Python
• Experience using agile software methodologies such as Scrum
• Experience in DevOps technologies such as Puppet, Chef, Docker Kubernetes, Ansible, Cucumber, Gherkin, Jenkins, and Maven
• Certification in Security+
• At least one type of AWS certification
• Java certification
Required Education:
5 years of relevant experience with a BS degree (typically, STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics,); or 3 years of relevant experience with a MS degree (typically, STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics,)
