Job Summary:
In this role you will work with a team of skilled Software Engineers who are designing, developing, and maintaining next-generation satellite mission software.
We are seeking software engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Perform object-oriented software development.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Must have an active U. S. Government Secret Security Clearance
-
Experience with object-oriented software development using Java in a Linux and Windows environment.
-
Experience with unit test and automated functional test concepts.
-
Experience using software tools such as Eclipse, Junit, Confluence, Jenkins, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Jira, and Git
-
Experience developing in an Agile and/or DevOps environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience programming in C++ and Python
-
Experience with DevOps practices and resources
-
Experience with an area of satellite ground system software

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
