Job Summary:

The Senior Infrastructure DevOps IAC Engineer is accountable for a continuous, repeatable, secure, and automated deploy, integration, and test solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps techniques in support of mission critical advanced ground system solutions. Infrastructure engineers work closely with cyber to ensure security controls are met and they also work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and implementation teams to ensure performance and deployment compliance.

NOTE: This position is required to be on site, however some Hybrid support may be performed. The ideal candidate must be local to the Aurora CO location; able and willing to drive into the Raytheon location to support Technical Exchange Meetings, and other related program work accordingly.

Raytheon is seeking Senior Infrastructure DevOps IAC Engineers in Aurora CO.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of DevSecOps solutions
  • You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs
  • You will assist with migration from legacy code repository (ClearCase) to BitBucket
  • You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool with Terraform/VMWare
  • You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises computing environments
  • You will provide guidance on resource allocation & utilization
  • You need the ability to obtain Comp TIA Security + (CISSP) Certification within 90 days
  • You will assist engineers with DevOps/DevSecOps tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
  • A current active US Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearances
  • Experience with Linux System Administration such as: RHEL 6.0+ or other related
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies such as Scrum/ SAFe or other related
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines such as Jira / Jira Service Management or other related
  • Experience using, configuring, and deploying automation frameworks such as Artifactory/ Jenkins or other related
  • Experience with code repository systems such as ClearCase or other related

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Comp TIA Security + certification
  • Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
  • Advanced level skill with automation tools
  • Advanced container development and orchestration such as Kubernetes or other related
  • VM provisioning such as VMWare or other related
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python/Java or other related
  • Experience with scanning tools such as Nessus or other related
  • Experience with Hashi Corp products such as Consul and Vault
  • General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

  • Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
  • management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
