Job Summary:
Perform financial and operations accounting, reporting and analysis in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, law and reporting requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Timely submission of Financial & Management Reporting with variance analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including corporate head office.
- Business partnering with cross-functional teams including providing sound financial advice to stakeholders to assist them in making informed decisions.
- Strong FP&A analytics to support the management team with the information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and corporate head office in support of Annual Budgeting and Costing exercise.
- Support all Pricing or Passport reviews with both internal & external customers, and support all transition projects as required.
- Ensure that accounts and subsidiary ledgers are kept in compliance with US GAAP, local statutory and corporate policies, procedures and practices.
- Management controls focus and support SOX testing, review and enhance the internal controls effectiveness, lead/ support all internal and external audit requests.
- Lead / support continuous improvement project within the department as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Lead / support all department and company-wide ACE initiatives.
- Support all other finance ad-hoc and special projects as required.
Job Requirements & Competencies:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA)
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience (manufacturing experience is advantageous)
- Knowledge of SAP, HFM and Sarbanes Oxley is advantageous
- Possess significant FP&A & Costing experience with strong analytical skills
- Possess high level of integrity, accuracy and attention to details
- Flexibility to respond to ad hoc requests and different challenges and to work through peak periods of demand
- Excellent communication skills
- Develop system and processes in order to drive improvements and efficiencies
