Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, periodic management reports and board meeting materials to internal and external stakeholders
  • Presenting value adding financial analysis showing the implications of decisions and help the Company to get approval for viable Capital Investments business cases and budgets
  • Provide insightful analysis to the inventory profile, the age of these inventories and co-relate the information to the forecasted sales to ensure that we keep adequate stock while maintaining healthy inventory levels
  • Lead engagement with the Supply Chain stakeholders and aid inventory management strategies aligned to overall KPI target
  • Build strong financial and commercial awareness with the business managers to improve performance
  • Ensure delivery of financial targets
  • Provide insightful analysis on the operating expenses and labor hours; driving cost savings and productivity initiatives for the Company
  • Drive digitalization projects and aid the transformation journey for finance and the business
  • Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects and other finance support functions including budgeting and special projects
  • Department managers – Credible and strong working relationship. Act as a business advisor to challenge and aid the business to improve overall performance and work towards the Company’s overall strategy
  • Finance Shared Service (Accenture) – Collaborate closely with the Accenture team to ensure that they provide high quality and timely services to the business
  • Finance Resources across the Pratt Network – Credible and strong working relationship. Support and provide high quality and timely information. Drives collaboration within the finance community
  • Auditors and Corporate Secretarial – Build good working relations and collaborate closely with them to ensure Company’s compliance to all regulatory and policy requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree educated with optional professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Audit & Statutory reporting would be ideal
  • Experience with dealing with cross functional and external stakeholders
  • Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Prior knowledge to PowerBI or data analytics tool is a bonus
