Are you a wizard with 3D modeling software but also an aerospace guru?  If so, we want you to join our Cabin Integration team in Everett, WA.  We specialize in retrofitting commercial aircraft interiors.  Our New Product Development Team focuses on developing New Products (galleys, lavatories, closets, storage etc) for the Integration Team and support military programs with commercial off the shelf products.

What does that mean exactly?  Think of where your inflight food and beverage are prepared, where you put your carry-on bag, or even when you need to use the lavatory mid-flight.  Cool, right?  This role influences everything a passenger touches during their inflight cabin experience.

What YOU Will Do:

  • You will partner with the Electrical Engineering Team to support new product development.

  • You will support project deliverables and deadlines by collaborating with your teammates.

  • You will produce and support the creation of innovative systems design, 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products (front row monuments, lavatories, galleys etc) within technical specification and project requirements using NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM system.

  • You will generate ideas to drive design-to-cost practices into new design to meet design cost targets.

  • You will gain exposure to global stakeholders and peers at our facilities in Philippines and India.

  • You will take initiative to suggest improvements to product and processes.

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • CAD (NX) & PLM Systems (Teamcenter)

  • Experience supporting commercial aircrafts such as Boeing and Airbus

  • Direct experience with one or more of the following: electrical wire harness design, wiring diagrams, electrical system design

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
