We are seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer to support, develop and initiate advanced research and development projects in their Physical Sciences and Systems business unit Middletown, RI.

  • This position is an onsite role.

What you will do

The successful candidate will gain experience with analog and digital electronics circuit design to develop hardware solutions needed to analyze physical phenomena (e.g., acoustics, optics, electro-magnetics, etc.) along with testing and analysis of advanced sensors, circuits, or devices.

What you will need

  • Typically requires BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline; plus 5 years of experience or MS plus 3 years.
  • Proven ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design, and verifying via test and integration.
  • Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Additional Skills that would be great

  • Understanding of analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, Acoustic and IR transducers.
  • Ability to perform circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LT Spice and MATLAB
  • Understanding of Anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing
  • Advanced degree or additional experience will be compensated appropriately
