Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the growing team in Hazelwood, MO.

Our Contract Management Specialists support United States Government (USG) contracts and proposal activities. This position includes a variety of contract management tasks, including leading proposal development, fact-finding, negotiation and award of contracts. Additionally, these analysts will coordinate with different functions to dissect statements of work, review terms and conditions, and maintain communications with internal and external partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports contracts administration

  • Assesses process risks and control adequacy

  • Maintains business processes and data integrity

  • Coordinates and partners with other internal functional fields

  • Builds, develops, documents and completes complex business plans through the analysis of contractual data

  • Exercises appropriate signature authority, proposes and negotiates agreements using approved contract terms and conditions

  • Performs due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities to ensure implementation of contracting policies and practices

  • Supports development and documents guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media

  • Monitors, reconciles and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations

  • Coordinates special requests for approval and exception, interprets contractual letters, provides contract performance status and performs contract closeout activities

  • Researches, drafts and makes recommendations on proposal and contractual language supporting the product or service, delivery processes and conducts document reviews

  • Supports auditor requests and provides interpretation of findings, identifies data for audit activities and identifies issues, develops corrective actions and implements solutions

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships

  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and driving complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 5+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts

  • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
