WHAT TO EXPECT

We are currently hiring for the position of a Security Systems Project Planner to join our Body Systems & Software Domain areas here at JLR. You will work at multiple phases of the development lifecycle in a Project Planner capacity from Attribute definition through to Production Validation. This operating environment is dynamic, and the role will require you to work closely with various internal and external stakeholders across the business including feature owners, other system owners, component and circuit engineering teams and suppliers to ensure the solutions engineered are feasible, robust and secure and delivered in accordance with Agile working methodology.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Run a dynamic cadence based around Agile principles – set up and co-ordinate cadence

  • Manage and facilitate visits from external suppliers and agencies

  • Manage test and competitor vehicle bookings and movements

  • Procure test parts, equipment and consumables

  • Facilitate clear communication between Security Squads and other stakeholders

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

You will need to have considerable Project Planning experience; including managing the communication and collaboration of stakeholders, understanding projects and what they need in order to be delivered on time and effectively.

 

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders

  • Proven Project/Programme Management experience

  • Agile Methodology knowledge/experience

  • Proven technical knowledge and experience of Automotive Systems Engineering for complex electro-mechanical systems
