Job Summary:

This position is for a Security Manager role within Special Access Programs (SAPs) in McKinney, TX. This multi-faceted security position will be responsible for all aspects of Security as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and Program Security Manager. Responsible for providing oversight, management, and implementation of contractual security requirements for engineering development labs and multifunction facilities utilizing the 32 CFR part 117 NISPOM rule, DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG). Responsible for risk management and maintaining compliance with health & safety guidelines for the company and the SAP program(s). Must apply experience in supporting security concepts, principles, and practices, to analyze and resolve security issues. 

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Manage the security office ensuring compliance for all security requirements for a portfolio of highly complex SAPs and provide technical expertise concerning all security disciplines.

  • Lead a team of CPSOs in the execution of program security, while developing and maintaining relationships with key program leaders.

  • Ensure compliance with US Government and Company directives and policies.

  • Maintain and develop SAPF facilities, both large and small, in accordance with ICD 705 standards.

  • Prepare and disseminate security procedures/guidance to all contractors/subcontractors.

  • Investigate security incidents, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and work with customer(s) to execute any corrective or disciplinary actions as required.

  • Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials, acting as liaison between sponsor and contractors.

  • Draft, review and release official outgoing correspondence for the program(s) ensuring compliance with security classification guides.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience.

  • Experience with generating DD-254s and sub-contractor oversight.

  • Experience with physical construction of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); ICD-705 knowledge.

  • Experience using DISS and JADE databases.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading geographically dispersed organizations.

  • Experience with developing security Concepts of Operation.

  • Experience with developing Program Protection Implementation Plans.

  • Experience with developing Operational Security plans.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
