What we offer This role is within our Industrial Operations team, which has the goal to provide digital technologies to support our manufacturing and supply chain solutions globally. You will be part of the global manufacturing execution cluster with the goal to support our plants developing best in class manufacturing systems.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Ownership:

  • Take charge of all technical aspects, including data quality, integrations, not only in SFMC but also for custom solutions.
  • Configure solutions within the Salesforce platform and beyond to meet business needs.
  • Assume responsibility for all technical aspects, including data quality and integrations. This extends beyond Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to encompass custom solutions.
  • Configure solutions within the Salesforce platform and explore options beyond Salesforce to meet specific business needs.
  • While deep technical knowledge is essential, an architect must also understand business processes, user needs, and industry trends.
  • They blend technical expertise with strategic thinking to create solutions that drive business value.

Best Practices and Integration:

  • Set and uphold best practices for integration, application development, deployment, and testing.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and productivity using SFMC and custom solutions.
  • Architects bring knowledge of integrating Salesforce with other technologies and vice versa.
  • They understand governance principles, ensuring compliance, security, and scalability.

Change Management and Releases:

  • Define, communicate, and manage the change management process for new applications and updates.

    CRM Implementation and Automation:

  • Collaborate on CRM implementation within Marketing Cloud, covering requirement gathering, integration, and user creation.
  • Configure Marketing Cloud modules (e.g., Automation Studio, Journey Builder) and develop Cloud Pages.
    Integration Expertise:
  • Seamlessly integrate Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud (Marketing Cloud Connector), third-party applications, and external systems.
  • Integration expertise involves the ability to build, scale, and manage integrations. It goes beyond the details of a specific integration project.
  • Architects must understand common API patterns, authentication methods, and various integration technologies.

Data Modeling and Documentation:

  • Deeply understand data models and deliverables.
  • Provide high-quality presentations, documentation, and QA support.Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer:
  • Attend and create opportunities for collaboration, contribute valuable insights, and assist team members.
  • Document newly implemented scenarios and fixes.
  • Understanding Business Requirements: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, product owners, and executives. Listen actively to comprehend their needs, challenges, and strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business users. Foster an environment of open communication and teamwork.
  • Solution Design Workshops: Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and align stakeholders on architectural decisions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership by guiding discussions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Share your expertise with team members, especially junior developers and administrators. Mentor them on best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation. This includes solution designs, diagrams, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for team members and end-users. Educate them on Salesforce features, best practices, and platform capabilities.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to transfer knowledge about coding standards, security practices, and optimization techniques.
  • Lessons Learned: After project completion, analyze what worked well and what didn’t. Share these insights with the team to improve future implementations.
