As Safety & Chemical Specialist you will be a part of our Volvo Cars Košice plant Health and Safety team.

The Health and Safety team has the responsibility to secure Volvo Cars Kosice plant prerequisites to fulfill legal compliance and corporate strategic ambitions within work environment, including occupational health, safety and wellbeing program.

Your role will be to support Plant, Project team and Health & Safety team in the area of Health & Safety.

Your role will be to:

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety principles and legal requirements into workspace design
  • Deliver safety-related instructions and risk analysis
  • Deliver safety training sessions and workshops for employees and leaders to ensure a high level of preventive mindset
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the Health & Safety area to continuously improve processes and solutions
  • Learn and take impressions from other plants within Volvo Cars
  • Support the Health and Safety manager, Plant and Project team in other topics related to Health and Safety

Required Qualifications

  • Documented qualifications in the Health & Safety; Chemical area
  • Knowledge of Slovakian legislation in the field of health, safety, chemical safety and work environment
  • Proved Industry experience in Health & Safety and Chemical Area
  • Experience with painting processes is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Slovak, both written and spoken

Where you’ll be

You will be based at Volvo Car Kosice plant in Slovakia.

The salary for this position starts from 2,189 EUR, per month, brutto.

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
