Job Summary:

This is a second shift position and a shift differential of 8% will be part of the total compensation.

As a Quality Technical Business Support teammate embedded within a CCA Value Stream, you will be a highly valued team member, bringing product and process compliance skills and expertise to drive defect prevention and process compliance and improvement.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

•Hands-on work with inspection methodology for electro-mechanical assemblies and interpretation of MIL and ANSI specifications and drawing interpretation to make confident quality dispositions of suspect non-conformances

•Physical inspection review of deliverable hardware as well as build documentation as required by process, technical data package, and contractual flow down.

•Process auditing for compliance to documented requirements, run rules and controls; you will provide production floor support to address process and compliance issues from all levels.

•Serving as the liaison between quality management and customers for the final sale of deliverable hardware.

•Support operator training where process feedback indicates a need.

•Summarize and communicate audit and inspection findings.

Qualifications You Must Have:

•6+ years of general hardware quality inspection experience

•Experience working in a manufacturing environment with accept and reject criteria for general quality workmanship.

•Experience working with assembly build processes, interpreting drawings and/or contractual flow down, and process documentation

•Auditing experience

•High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Qualifications We Value:

•Previous experience manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies (surface mount technology and thru-hole technology)

•Working knowledge of industry technical standards (such as J-STD-001, IPC-A-610), preferred  J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 Certification

•Experience working in a Represented Workforce environment

•Ability to walk back, communicate concerns to operations, and support team.

•Ability to randomly sample hardware and processes and follow inspection sampling plans

•Good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities; including roving process and product audits,  self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.

•ASQ certified Inspector, Auditor, Technician or CI Associate

•Associate’s Degree or related experience with certification

•Process Improvement and R6S / Core Specialist

•High Attention to detail

AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
