Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality First Line Manager (Level K) to support the Interiors Responsibility Center based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees across multiple Quality Management Job Families

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

  • Successfully implements solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry

  • 3+ years in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • Ability to work on the production floor supporting on-product conformance determinations

  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. AS9100)

  • Experience working execution to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments

  • 3 + years in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

  • 3+ years working with cross-functional leadership doing collaborative problem solving while building lasting relationships

  • Precision in written and verbal communication

Summary pay range: $108,800 - $147,200
