OBJECTIVES:
- Provide Quality interface between Quality, Operations and Clinics
- Provide first line response (RTPR) for line side quality concerns
- Support Quality Clinic Investigations – Including disposition of Product
- Drive resolution of QN / QIM’s on Customer / Supplier issues
- Drive Zero Defect Culture using standard Tools & Processes
- Improve internal FPY and SRR within Value Stream
- Improve Customer satisfaction and MFA for Value Stream
REQUIRED COMPETENCE :
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree Qualified (Preferably in Quality Business Management)
- Basic Quality Management Systems qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding of Quality requirements and contractual flow downs
- 2-5 years’ experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Able to identify and resolve problems using Quality toolbox.
- Application of measurement, analysis or continuous improvement tools
- Root Cause and Corrective Action practitioner using 8D process or similar.
- Lean Practitioner an advantage.
- PC literate - capable user of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

- High level reporting and data interrogation capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

ACTIVITES (Mainly but not limited to):
- Interface with Operations Quality Clinics and Internal teams for all Value Stream related Quality issues
- Ensure full containment of all quality related issues is conducted both internally and at associated sites in a timely manner
- Lead and facilitate robust RRCA to drive quality improvements.
- Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to all applicable requirements (AS9100, EASA Part 21, Customers)
- Ensure critical QNs are actioned through 8D’s and other problem solving tools.
- Support the reduction of non-conformances from within the Value Stream ensuring zero repeated escapes.
- Support Zero Defect Initiative across key products / processes.
- Report out as required on key actions and road blocks preventing effective closure of 8D’s

- Has a thorough understanding of AS9100/ ISO9001 requirements and how they may be achieved through the Quality Management System.

Qualifications :
- 4 - Day AS9100 Lead Auditor Training Class (preferred) with passing exam
- or 3 – Day AS9100 Auditor Training Class with passing exam
- or ISO 9001 Auditor Training Class with passing exam (or industry equivalent) and a 3 Day AS9100 Competency Training Course with passing exam
- or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor Certification
- or RABQSA or IRCA Auditor Certification or CQI Accreditation
