Position overview

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities associated with the Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Program (PSMP). The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, dealer and field support, various administrative functions, database systems management, marketing initiatives, and frequent dealer/field communications.  

Roles & responsibilities

 

  • Assist in solving dealer and field staff issues related to pre-paid maintenance claims processing procedures, and review of pre-paid maintenance claims ensuring claims are in compliance
  • Daily dealer and field support via Porsche’s internal request management system, email, and Porsche Partner Network
  • Accurate and timely reporting in areas such as sales, finance, accounting, and parts
  • Frequent updates and enhancements to program systems and databases (both US and German)
  • Review and report pre-paid maintenance program and operational metrics utilizing analytical methodologies
  • Analyze dealer network performance to proactively target improvement opportunities that can be realized through training and best practices
  • Clear and concise communications in areas such as presentations, training resources, and communication channels
  • Assist in developing and implement supportive marketing strategies and plans, adhering to available budgets
  • Participate in training webinars as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or an appropriate combination of education and work experience is required

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of automotive industry experience, with the majority of the time spent in the OEM environment (sales, finance, aftersales, etc.)
  • Basic technical knowledge of vehicles
  • Previous dealership experience preferred
  • Experience with service retention and scheduled maintenance programs preferred

 

Skills:

  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Analysis, etc.) and SAP
  • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills with the ability to multitask
  • Customer service oriented with a sense of urgency for resolving problems
  • Ability to work productively in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizational hierarchy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, spelling, grammar, and composition skills

 

 

Percentage of required travel: 10%

Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

 

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
