Position overview

The Compliance Manager role is a highly experienced compliance position centered on supporting the PFS Compliance Management System (CMS). The position will focus on vendor management related responsibilities, but may also support various aspects of the CMS, including but not limited to Training, Directives, Law Changes and occasional support on other department topics as needed. The role will have a direct reporting relationship to the Sr. Manager, Compliance & Fraud.

 

Roles & responsibilities

 

  • Manage the day-to-day tasks and year to year planning for the PFS Vendor Management Program including oversight of the Compliance Analyst’s activities of scheduling and tracking related to vendor due diligence, as well as assisting with all other oversight requirements for PFSUS and PFS Canada (PFSC) vendors.
  • Ensure all PFS Business Owners are adequately trained on Vendor Management requirements and the systemized workflow for vendor management requirements and vendor assessments.
  • Update Vendor Management Assessments Annually or as needed.
  • Draft biannual Vendor Management Reporting.
  • Act as subject matter expert on the tools and systems utilized for PFS Vendor Management and the PFS Compliance Management System generally, including, but not limited to, the SAI360 Third Party Risk Management module.
  • Responsible for conducting all virtual and local Vendor Management on-site visits.
  • Enhance tools and processes utilized in the PFS Vendor Management Program regularly and as needed.
  • Ensure requests and recommendations provided to PFS vendors are appropriately addressed.
  • Responsible for organization utilization, oversight, and maintenance of Porsche Business Partner Check Tool.
  • Conduct Live training on Vendor Management or other Compliance related topics annually or as needed/requested by PFS Business Owners.
  • Work closely with PFS Business Owners during vendor onboarding to ensure that compliance related vendor management processes are adhered to.
  • Participate in the annual review and drafting of Compliance directives and regulation documents.
  • Act as project lead for Compliance projects, initiatives, and enhancements as assigned by Compliance & Business Integrity Department management.
  • Support the operational implementation of legal and regulatory requirements, as well as best practices, into company policies and processes.
  • Coordinate with Compliance & Business Integrity managers for support in relevant Vendor Management reviews. 
  • Act as organizational resource for Vendor Management and the PFS Compliance Management System.
  • Manage the tracking and handling of measures required for implementation of Compliance & Business Integrity and Porsche Group Compliance initiatives, including the assignment of learning courses and preparation of training related reporting.
  • Support management with regular Quarterly Compliance Committee meetings, as well as Compliance & Business Integrity department meetings.
  • Assist with the completion of documentation required for annual compliance reporting for PFS ShareCo, PFSD, and PAG.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and target setting objectives for Compliance Analyst.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial industry regulations, and laws, including, but not limited to the Graham Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), & Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Supervision.
  • Assist with Management of PFSUS and PFSC Directives implementation, updates, and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations and action strategies to key business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience working within a vendor focused compliance management system preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Commitment to excellence –quality driven.
  • Understanding of federal and state vendor management requirements and expectations.
  • Proficiency in SAI360 and task management.
  • Understanding of automotive financing principles, strategies, systems, and processes.
  • Demonstrated research, deductive, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Conceptual thinking, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • PC experience required, including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to seek out improvement ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple groups on multiple levels.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Travel periodically based on business need.
  • Employee work schedules are determined by business need, managed accordingly and communicated to staff.
  • Position is based Atlanta, GA.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
