DFC Project Manager II

The DFC Project Manager II position plays a vital role in ensuring quality and timely delivery of concurrent, complex problems while working closely with cross-functional teams to manage scope and resources to achieve successful project execution. Possesses a solid knowledge base in project management including the initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control, and closeout of projects with proven ability to work with various project team members and act as a problem solver by providing workable solutions to keep projects on track and mitigate risk.

Location: Tigard, OR (onsite)

Compensation: $73,000-87,000 annual

Responsibilities

  • Help define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
  • Actively participate in the development of Project Plans, communication, scope assessments, support transition documentation and training.
  • Effective communication and relationship between customers and project team members is maintained.
  • Performing quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the expected standards.
  • Monitor project work to ensure progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the projects as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Provide direction, training, and support to other team positions as.
  • Act as a support point of contact to DFC personnel for escalation of issues and concerns
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of professional experience with an emphasis on project management.
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies.
  • Cost and risk management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)
