We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager to lead our Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare Project Management Office.

Raytheon Australia is seeking a skilled PMO Manager to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare in Mawson Lakes. You will join the experienced delivery team working:

  • On the development, deployment and support of a Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare System of Systems to the ADF.
  • Lead and provide direction for day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of projects
  • Ensure project safety, technical performance, and milestones are achieved within budgets and schedules
  • Deliver projects within cost, schedule, and quality and performance specification
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess, identify, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities in accordance with company policies
  • Actively manage subcontractor performance to ensure contracted level and quality of service is provided
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Participate in identifying and developing program growth opportunities and proposals.
  • Multiple positions available across all levels of experience

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or construction related industries.
  • Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required.
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or equivalent project management methodology.
  • Skilled in the use of project management software (Organisational Process Performance, Microsoft Project, etc) and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated skills in estimating work effort, duration, and value.
  • Experience communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, as well as parties external to the organisation (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1 - eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
