Summary
As part of the overall Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Network, this position is located in North Berwick Maine. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong project management skills to provide overall support for the P&W Aftermarket Operations business.
From a proximity perspective, you are within reach of quaint New England Towns, the Atlantic Ocean, and even a string of mountain ranges where all season activity is possible.

The selected candidate will be responsible for business & technical systems management, Digital Technologies infrastructure services oversight, and project execution management for ERP (SAP) and manufacturing execution systems. The person in this role will work with core Digital Technologies disciplines, out-sourced service providers and customers to ensure that the overall Digital Technologies needs and objectives of the business are met:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary focus will be testing and leading Solumina software integration (G5 to G8).

Available to support in a 24/7 environment (may include off-shift and weekend support).

Support local and enterprise-wide Digital Technologies initiatives and serve as resident POC for all Digital Technologies implementations.

Work with multiple groups to understand business application and define specific Digital Technologies requirements across multiple manufacturing and enterprise applications.

Translate customer requirements and serve as liaison to subject matter experts.

Conduct software testing and report issues and recommended changes to core software development teams.

Develop training material for new software and support the shop floor during software implementation.

Collaborate with P&W Digital Technologies team to create project timelines and alignment with business needs.

Work with P&W and DXC resources to develop applications supporting business objectives.

Document local Digital Technologies processes & procedures and ensure audit compliance.

Address business transformation requirements.

Support budget & investment planning for Information Technology needs.

Streamline business workflow processes and develop effective technology.
Basic Qualifications
-
Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Military, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Aviation industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.

U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.
Preferred Qualifications

Degree in STEM field; Engineering and Technology fields preferred.
-
Demonstrated leadership skills; direct supervisory experience.
-
Experience with technology implementations and large-scale project management. PMP Certification a plus.

Process improvement experience and related certifications (i.e. LEAN, CORE, ACE or Six-Sigma).

Familiarity with programming and capabilities of CNC and conventional machine-shop machinery (non-CNC) and robotics.

Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Advanced user of Solumina G5/G8; implementation experience a big plus.

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business goals and project milestones.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.

Understanding of Factory Network Infrastructure segmentation – Industrial Firewall, machine communication protocols, IDF & MDF networking, etc.

General knowledge of HMI, MES, SCADA, & PLC interfaces (software & hardware).
