Job Title: Project Controller

Glenrothes/Livingston- Hybrid working model offered

Summary of Role:

Opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and analysis of the program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). The individual will work within Integrated project teams on NPI and production projects to provide project planning, tracking, baseline maintenance and cost control.  The role will require generation of performance and variance analysis information to support programme decision making, and guide teams in use of PM processes.
 
Main Duties:

•Responsible for integrity of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring that all activities, events and milestone are logically linked and fully resourced with labour hours, and material costs.

•Perform critical path, schedule risk and variances analysis. The project performance is to be progressed weekly/monthly, in order to provide performance metrics and Cost to Complete (ETC) for financial reporting throughout the life of the project.
•Investigate and interpret trend data and provide metrics for review at Programme Monthly Review Boards.
•Ensure contractual and programme changes are incorporated into the IMS to maintain a realistic baseline plan, on which Earned Value reports are generated and guide the Integrated Project Team on the use of EVMS.
•Monitor the Programme Timesheet Bookings and report/investigate unexpected bookings to contracts.
•Facilitate the company risk  process by holding Programme Risk Review Boards, to identify and document risks, opportunities and mitigation actions. Provide analysis and reports.                   

•Support the Programme Manager, CAMs and Programme Accountant to establish a performance management baseline and budget authorisations

•Development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS).
•Support Bid and Proposal activities through the collation and transfer of Basis of Estimates into the Pricing Team.
•Travel to other Raytheon UK Sites (UK, Europe and USA) may be required.

Candidate Requirements:

•Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of working in a Project/Programme Control environment.
•Experience of Microsoft Project 2010 and above
•Ability to meet deadlines
•Ability to handle data accurately across various tools                  

•Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business
•Good IT skills with the ability to learn new applications
•Ability to work with diverse project teams and stakeholders
•Ability to support, guide and influence project teams to ensure programmes are set up in accordance with Raytheon standard practices and processes.
 
Desirable:
•Ideally Educated to Degree Level or equivalent but lesser qualification would be considered with relevant experience.
•Financial control &  budgeting, and any experience of Earned Value management would be advantageous

•Commercial/Business awareness in a complex projects environment.

Experience of SAP

•This position will require a considerable amount of interaction with all levels of management, which will require strong interpersonal skills to assert best practice in an environment of competing priorities.
