What does the role look like?
An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager within our After Market Value Streams at our Actuation Headquarters in Wolverhampton.
The role requires an experienced, high achieving individual reporting to the Aftermarket Regional Customer Support Director to take responsibility for the in-service management of a number of products supplied from Actuation Systems in Wolverhampton
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- Provide ISM Programme Management of designated product lines at Actuation Wolverhampton.
- Ensure global MRO assembly and test capability in place to meet entry into service aircraft needs. Supporting project status, engineering, maintaining and increasing aftermarket margin and profitability. Maintaining and improving vendor ratings and customer satisfaction.
- Create, maintain and effectively communicate project plans and resource profiles to cover implementation of aftermarket customer support contracts working together with the Actuation EIS and sustainment teams.
- Delivering improvement opportunities to existing ISM programs. Effective negotiating, planning and acquiring the necessary resources to achieve project deliverables, New Product Introduction ensuring that each program is using the tools in place for the Enter Into Service. Key measures and KPI are in place, maintained and meeting customer expectations.
- Present project status to customer and Collins senior management.
- Deputise for the Aftermarket Regional Customer Support Director IATA 2 as appropriate.

- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
Desirable skills:
- 5+ Years experience within a similar position
- A demonstrable track record of high-performance standards used to deliver committed objectives and a comprehensive range of skills or potential to acquire.
- Good organisational and analytical ability including competence with general IT tools (i.e. MS Office).
- Knowledge of project management IT tools (MS Project) and earned value techniques would be an advantage.
- Educated to graduate level or suitable experience in a programme led discipline.
- Willing to travel and to work flexible hours to support communication across different time zones.
- Knowledge of a second European language would be preferable.
