Accountable for the full lifecycle of aircraft interior monument products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support. Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of programs. Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers. Has profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio.
This role is hybrid (4 days/week onsite) in Everett, WA. Relocation assistance will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for program execution, ensuring adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.
- Reviews and updates milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organization's objectives are met.
- Identifies risks and opportunities, develops risk and opportunities, develops mitigations and recommendations to achieve customer satisfaction, cost and performance goals.
- Participates in and leads the negotiation and preparation of proposals, business plans, operational budgets, and financial conditions of programs to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests.
- Prepares and presents value-stream strategy, progress, and results.
- Expected level of domestic and international travel: Up to 10%
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer facing experience as a project/program manager
- Owned and managed multiple aspects of a program/project, i.e. financial, engineering, operations
- Responsibility for profit and loss
- Negotiation experience
- Technical background, i.e. engineering, quality, etc.
- Lean manufacturing/ Six Sigma
- Root Cause Corrective Action
- Change management
- Manufacturing and development life cycle
- Interpreting aerospace specifications and contracts
- SAP
- Microsoft Project skills / Dependencies and successors / Critical path analysis
- MS Excel
- Strong program status and presentation experience
- Meeting facilitation experience
- PMP certification and demonstration of project management experience
- Able to travel nationally/internationally as needed up to 10%

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
