Job Description :
This Program Area Chief Engineer (PACE) is the engineering focal point for the ISR&C Program Area within RI&S Space Systems, with a focus on delivering emerging and disruptive solutions to national priority customers, including strategic missile components, space protection, and space situational awareness. The PACE manages all of the Chief Engineers that drive execution for ISR&C programs and captures. Specifically, the PACE has 4 direct CEs, and oversight of a total workforce of approximately 170 matrixed/subcontracted positions. This position directly impacts $182M in annual sales, as well $2B in new bookings over the next 5 years. It is a critical position within the Space and C2 Engineering LT.
Basic Qualification:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience
- Experience in Aerospace or Government Defense Organizations
- Experience with execution, process integration, Six Sigma, Quality or related process improvement methodologies
- Experienced mentor giving guidance, direction and holding individuals accountable for deliverables in their domain area
- Experience in execution and management through the use of performance metrics
- Minimum Active SSBI
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) in science, math, physics or related technical field
